The Light Up Chinatown! festival site is located at 500-block Columbia Street.
PUBLIC TRANSIT
SkyTrain: The festival site is a 10-minute walk away from Stadium-Chinatown Station and Main Street-Science World station.
Bus: The 19, 22, 3, and 8 buses stop at the intersection of Pender and Main St.

The festival is free for all to attend!

While Light Up Chinatown! does not offer on-site parking, there is an EasyPark parking complex less than a minute walk away located in Chinatown Plaza at 106 Keefer Street. Metered street parking is also available.
500-block Columbia St will be closed to traffic, while Keefer and East Pender Streets will remain open for cars and public transit. Please be mindful of detours.

Yes, Light Up Chinatown! is an outdoor event and will proceed rain or shine. If necessary, check the weather forecast and come prepared with appropriate attire such as sunscreen, hats, umbrellas, and rain jackets.

Safety continues to be a top priority for the festival. The Vancouver Police Department is providing additional foot patrol officers around the neighbourhood, and there will be increased security measures in and around the festival grounds.
